Summary: I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT AT FIRST
Comment: Then I tried it myself. This stuff really does help congestion. I use a CPAP machine and sometimes when I wake up I have this mucus ball in my throat. I don't mean to be gross but I know some of you know just what I mean.
I can't take a lot of the decongestants out there because they make me very shaky. The doctor told my Mom to take it and because it is so expensive I bought some off of Amazon.
She tried it and so did my husband and it worked for both of them. So with a lot of thought and apprehension I gave it a whirl.
All I can say is.....DO IT!!!!

Summary: Disappointment with product
Comment: I ordered the product Guaifenesin thinking I was getting something to aid me with the pain I suffer from Fibromalgia. Instead what I received was a product called Mucinex, an expectorant, which is an aid to remove mucus from one's throat and lungs. I feel I was mislead and am not happy about the situation. Never was I told that the product Mucinex had Guaifenesin in it. I am terribly confused with the situation and do not know how to take the medication.

Comment: I take this twice a day, everyday, by recommendation of doctors that I have. It keeps mucus from getting into my lungs; that's important for me because of a few health issues. Like the other reviewer stated that it did not interfere with her prescriptions, this does not interfere with any of my prescription medications.

Summary: great product
Comment: This is the best expectorant for relieving congestion. It also has been shown to help with fibromyalgia...I now take daily instead of just when I am sick and there aren't negative side effects like one gets with anti inflammatories or pain pills. It really does help. The extended release component is the big selling point. The generics have to be taken up to 4 times a day for the same effect. I will always have this in my medicine cabinet
