Summary: It may look cheapy but . . .
Comment: When I first took it out of the box, I thought it looked like a low-tech cheap knock-off of a fancier high priced one I had seen elsewhere. But I decided to test it out. I used it for a week, twice a day and then I took a swab and rubbed it all over the bristles of my toothbrush and put it into a culture lab dish and waited to see what grew. Surprise! Surprise! Very, very little compared to my daughters brush which we didn't put in the pod! I am very pleased with how well it works and how easy it is to clean.

Comment: I have no problem with figuring things out but why the bulb stopped working after less than 2 weeks is irritating. If I had time I'd send it back. The goal was to sanitize my childs toothbrushes, he throws them everywhere. Goal not met with this device.

Comment: We've had this for almost a year and use it daily. I really think it works great. It's easy to clean, too. It's nice to know our toothbrushes are being sanitized after each use.

Summary: Quality consistant with low price
Comment: I went for this model because it's cordless, we don't have an outlet near the medicine cabinet where we keep the brushes so it made sense. I agree with the previous review, there is always a pile of moisture inside the removeable tray, how can there not be bacteria present? The batteries died very fast even though my husband and I are the only users. I thought this was strange so I went and got rechargeable batteries, have to recharge them once a week. Then, after only 2 months, the UV bulb blew out. Now I don't know where to find a replacement bulb. I quit! Should have paid a little more for a better model.
