Customer Rating: Summary: Received a Dud Comment: I can;t really review how this humidifier works, because I received a dud. We assembled and re-assembled it several times, and when we turned it on, almost nothing happened -- just a few veils of steam, no more than you wouldget from a cup of tea.
I emailed the seller (True Value), who emailed me detailed return instructions and a UPS label so we could return it.
If we don;t get our refund, I will update this revew, but so far, so good. Customer Rating: Summary: Good humidifier so far Comment: This humidifier is quiet and works well so far (have had it for about a month). Nothing fancy, but does the job -- which is more than I can say for a lot of less-expensive humidifiers I have bought over the years! Customer Rating: Summary: Best in market!! Comment: Spent time looking for a humidifier to replace old one. Very happy with the product. My five year old son immediately stopped his coughing in the middle of the night. Thank you AOS!!! Customer Rating: Summary: Air-O-Swiss model 7131 Comment: This product is brand new so I haven't used it much. It's very quiet and puts out a refreshing mist. One gripe I have is that the instructions do not tell you how to insert/place/snap whatever the Ionic Silver Stick. They show a picture but the picture does NOT look like the equipment I have. So, I just pushed the stick into the groove between two plastic posts (not described or shown in the manual). So evidently they have 'updated' or changed the base without updating the manual. I really hate inconsistencies like that. Especially on expensive appliances. I'm thrilled with the lovely mist that pours out of the machine, the effect is kind of like dry ice in water. I will update as I put more miles on this unit.
