Summary: GREAT sunblock
Comment: My skin is super sensitive to sunlight. I burn sitting in front of a window in 20 minutes, outside in 10. Like red burn, OK? I have to put block on every single day or the UV will crispy fry me. The Active works all day even when out sailing under the hot sun for 6 hours at a time. Careful to rub in well around eyes or excess will drip/run down into eyes and burn.
Just purchased the new Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch by Neutrogena. Has the same exact active ingredients and percentile as the Active. It does feel dryer BUT the Dry-Touch tube is one ounce less (3 OZ) than the Active (4 OZ) at the same price. Inflation my butt.
The other interesting note is the Dry-Touch has no expiration date stamped on the tube. Also the tube design doesn't allow you to squeeze out every last drop of block unlike the Active where you remove the top and there sits a finger sized hole.
I'll buy more of the Active to last me another year soon.

Summary: good product, but beware of expiration date
Comment: First of all, this is a good sunscreen. It contains avobenzone, which provides broad-spectrum protection (UVB and UVA rays). It doesn't have a strong scent, and it contains silica, which allows the sunscreen to dry to a relatively matte finish. I will say that this does run into the eyes if you go for a swim in the water, but regular perspiration from activities like jogging didn't cause that dreaded eye-sting for me! But my husband (who sweats quite a bit) did complain it got in his eyes, so use with caution around the eyes.
All I've said is based on previous use of the product. BUYER BEWARE: The bottles I received from Amazon each had an expiration date of 11/2007, just four months away from the date I received them. It's poor quality control to allow almost-expired products to leave Amazon's warehouses. Sunscreens will begin to lose their efficacy over time, and it's irresponsible that Amazon would allow a product that is nearing the end of its shelf-life to reach their customers.

Summary: Protection without the grease!
Comment: All the sunblock products that I've used in the past (Coppertone, Banana Boat, etc) have felt greasy and reeked of some smell. This sunblock actually left the skin feeling dry, with no smell, and still provided great coverage! I actually like the small size since it's easy to carry around. I get to use the entire bottle, as opposed to other times when I'm left with a lot unused (since I don't like using it) and have to throw it away. Remember to reapply after strenuous activity, swimming, etc. I just love this product!

Summary: Great product!
Comment: My red-headed daughter is very active and is a hard core soccer player. Most of the season was spent in the blistering, hot sun during her games. Then, we would spend another 2-3 hrs more in the sun because of her older sister's soccer game. She had trouble with other sun screens because, if she sweat, it would sting and burn her eyes. This product does not! It goes on easily and doesn't have any over powering perfume added to it. If it should get into your eyes, there was no stinging or burning. I loved this product so much, that I have several bottles of it now. Well worth the money for everybody...the time you spend protecting yours and your family's skin will pay off down the road. I wish that I knew all of this when I was young...I would've taken better care of my skin!
