Customer Rating: Summary: Sharp, yes, but . . . . Comment: After all the hype, I was a little disappointed. They are sharp, but somehow hard to position correctly, and the angle of the clipper handle seems odd.
Customer Rating: Summary: OK clippers Comment: These are very well made clippers and very sharp. They may be a little over kill because they are almost too nice. You either have to get several clippers to place in your car, office and home, or you have to get used to using these and then changing to a much inferior clippers when you want to work on your nails somewhere else.
Customer Rating: Summary: It is SHARP! Comment: Just like a nail clipper is supposed to be: It is very sharp and actually "cuts" your nails...
Downside: Because it is very sharp, and not very wide and round (compared to the exact shape of an average human fingertip) it creates "edgy" rectangular cuts. Still love it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Quality materials but awkward design for me Comment: I was really looking forward to trying these clippers after going through about 10 cheap clippers that required brute force to use.
I have to admit that, after reading all the positive reviews, I'm fairly disappointed in these. Why? Well, first, they don't seem to be all that sharp. But that may be more perception than reality, because they do cut my nails well.
But even more disappointing is that the opening is so narrow that I have to fumble around just to get my nails into the slot. I found a cheap pair of all-stainless steel clippers at the big-box superstore for about $3.00 that seem to do a better job.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best Comment: My family has been using J.A. Henckle Nail clipper for 8 years (works great even now), and I love it very much. When I moved out from my parent's house and when I was about to order one myself, I saw people recommending Seki Nail Clipper over Henckle's Nail Clipper. So i thought I'll give a shot to it, and purchased Seki instead...and wow...I LOOOOVE this Seki Clipper. I never thought I would need separate nail clipper for toe nails (one is enough to do all job), but since Seki nail clipper is so wonderful, I'm kinda tempted to buy a Toe nail clipper as well.
